      Go to either Politicians or Legislation and search using the filter options or use the search bar at the top of the screen and enter either a name or legislation title.

    • What do the filter options mean?

      • Congress Session is the annual series of meetings of Congress, the current session is 119.
      • The type of a legislation has several options:
        • HR: House Bill - legislation introduced in the House of Representatives
        • S: Senate Bill - legislation introduced in the Senate
        • HRJRES: House Joint Resolution - similar to HR but does not require a presidential signature but does require two-thirds of both the House and Senate.
        • SJRES: Senate Joint Resolution - similar to S but does not require a presidential signature but does require two-thirds of both the House and Senate.
        • HCONRES: House Concurrent Resolution - Matters that affect the operations of both the House and Senate originated from the House.
        • SCONRES: Senate Concurrent Resolution - Matters that affect the operations of both the House and Senate originated from the Senate.
        • HRES: House Simple Resolution - Matters that affect the operations of only the House.
        • SRES: Senate Simple Resolution - Matters that affect the operations of only the Senate.
