BEAN, Aaron, a Representative from Florida; born in Fernandina Beach, Nassau County, Fla., January 25, 1967; graduated from Fernandina Beach High School, Fernandina Beach, Fla., 1985; B.S., Jacksonville University, Jacksonville, Fla., 1989; auctioneer; business owner; development advisor; bank president; Fernandina Beach, Fla., city commissioner, 1996-1999; mayor of Fernandina Beach, Fla., 1997-1999; member of the Florida state house of representatives, 2000-2008; member of the Florida state senate, 2012-2022, president pro tempore, 2020-2022; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Eighteenth and to the succeeding Congress (January 3, 2023-present).
