BARRETT, Tom, ( great-grandson of Louis Charles Rabaut ), a Representative from Michigan; born in Southfield, Oakland County, Mich., April 30, 1981; graduated from Lamphere High School, Madison Heights, Mich., 2000; B.A., Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Mich., 2007; United States Army, 2000-2022; staff, Michigan state treasurer; member of the Michigan state house of representatives, 2015-2019; member of the Michigan state senate, 2019-2023; unsuccessful candidate for election to the One Hundred Eighteenth Congress in 2022; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Nineteenth Congress (January 3, 2025-present).
