HARIDOPOLOS, Mike, a Representative from Florida; born in Huntington, Suffolk County, N.Y., March 15, 1970; graduated from Garden City High School, Garden City, N.Y., 1988; B.A., Stetson University, DeLand, Fla., 1992; M.A., University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Ark., 1993; faculty member, Brevard Community College (now Eastern Florida State College), Melbourne, Fla.; member of the Florida state house of representatives, 2000-2003; member of the Florida state senate, 2003-2012, president, 2010-2012; faculty member, University of Florida, Gainesville, Fla., 2008-2014; author; business owner; television commentator; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Nineteenth Congress (January 3, 2025-present).
