JOHNSON, Mike, a Representative from Louisiana; born in Shreveport, Caddo Parish, La., January 30, 1972; graduated from Captain Shreve High School, Shreveport, La., 1990; B.S., Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, La., 1995; J.D., Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, La., 1998; lawyer, private practice; member of the Louisiana state house of representatives, 2015-2017; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Fifteenth and to the four succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2017-present); Speaker of the House (One Hundred Eighteenth and One Hundred Nineteenth Congresses).
