PATRONIS, Jimmy, a Representative from Florida; born in Panama City, Bay County, Fla., April 13, 1972; attended Bay High School, Panama City, Fla.; A.A., Gulf Coast Community College (now Gulf Coast State College), Panama City, Fla., 1994; B.A., Florida State University, Tallahassee, Fla., 1996; business owner; member, Florida state elections commission; member of the Florida state house of representatives, 2006-2014; member, Florida public service commission, 2015-2017; chief financial officer of Florida, 2017-2025; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Nineteenth Congress, by special election, to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of United States Representative Matthew L. Gaetz, II (April 1, 2025-present).
