ROSE, John, a Representative from Tennessee; born in Cookeville, Putnam County, Tenn., February 23, 1965; graduated from Cookeville High School, Cookeville, Tenn., 1983; B.S., Tennessee Tech University, Cookeville, Tenn., 1988; M.S., Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind., 1990; J.D., Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn., 1993; business executive; farmer; Tennessee commissioner of agriculture, 2002-2003; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Sixteenth and to the three succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2019-present).
